Hey Donny, checked out some of your other work, good job. too bad you are not closer, You could've stayed in Cove. been going to Nolan Creek out in Nolanville for all my body work.
Hey! I got PCS orders to Ft Sam Houston just 2-3 yrs before I was planning on retiring...thought for sure I'd stay in Cove, but, that wasn't in the cards! Each time I drive by Nolanville, they seem packed up full, which appears to be a good problem to have?

That isn't too bad for a last duty, no matter where I went I was making sure to return to Hood. Nolan Creek is about the best around here for Classics. few Mopars even though the owner has a 440-6 from a wrecked Chally sitting in the bay. He owns almost every year GTO ever made as well. Beautiful Garage were he keeps them.

Best shop down this way is musclerodshop.com mainly Mopars, has migrated over to Mustangs and Corvettes lately, but still bread and butter Mopar.

They actually are rather inexpensive for the work they do, any shop where 1000 hrs is required will take many months, and many thousands of dollars unless you can do it all yourself.

Trunk Floor and Qtr drop offs installed! The head of the Drop Offs (where they meet the Wheelhouses) had to be chopped about 2 inches as I did the tubbing all the way to the Frame rails and the wheelhouses are bigger now. I used to be frightened about cutting this or that, not any longer! Cut it and re-weld it! Pics coming tomorrow.

Cut it and re-weld it!
I have a close friend that is a well known builder in the Houston area, he was asked by Foose to help out on Armstrong's GTO.... I'm always picking his brain.... One day he asked me, I guess I was getting on his nerves asking so many questions, but he said..." do you think I was born knowing this crap????.... just cut the s$@t and weld it up!!! If you f up, cut the **** out and start over, Its not brain surgery.... you can fix your f up on a car!!!!"
That kind of stuck with me, but I still know my limitations!

Anyone recommend a vendor for the Spring Relocation Kit?

Sent you a PM about Spring Relocation Kits - got mine from US Cartools
( American Made - Chris' shop is only about 1 1/2 hours from my house - have visited him a couple times - Great Guy )

Ok ya'll, greetings! Since getting bitten by that German car thing; ie the Porsche 928 I've found a new love and went out and bought a second 928! So, something had to go...and it was NOT the Satellite, it was the GTX. So...I've been super dooper busy on tons of paying project cars. Insanely busy! I certainly need some help, but as everyone knows, it's hard to locate and keep good help due to many issues. So, all we can do is plug along. Here's a cool shot, underside the Satellite with the 5.7 in it. As soon as I get ride of James' Challenger (almost done), a 69 Camaro and the little fella GTV Alfa Romeo, walls come down and floor space increasing and a dedicated space for my Satellite operations!
