Hi I need to replace the drivers door latch on my 70 sport satellite. To get it out i need to remove the rear glass track. To get that out i need to remove the glass. I've removed the stop protusion from the rear of the glass but in the middle of the glass at the bottom where the regulator track attaches to the glass by a blue plastic fastener how is that removed. Will the glass exit once the blue fastener is removed
I'm doing all this because the door won't shut properly. At first it wouldn't even close without lifting the door but improved after adjusting the striker The hinges are fine Looking at the toothed wheel on the latch they look a bit worn. Am i on the right track.
Thx for looking

on my 69 and most all mopars I've seen the two 7/16th (wrench size) nuts are all that holds it in place. Getting the arm/rod clip off the mech can be a pain but I've never had to take apart everything like your doing now. Just a thought.

hi there are no bolts on mine but that unusual blue plastic fastener

I didn't have to remove the glass on our '68 Coronet hardtop in order to remove the rear glass track. I removed the 2 retaining bolts, one on the upper rear side and one on the rear side next to the passenger. then I merely slid the glass track downward and set it inside on the bottom of the door.
