Has anyone else had trouble with aftermarket door glass ? I'm putting together a '69 Charger. I bought a complete glass set from Auto City Classic. After several hours of fighting with the door glass, I discovered the curvature of the aftermarket piece is a tighter radius than the OEM piece, enough to make it bind in the glass run channel. The binding isn't slight; it would require a small elephant hanging on the glass to roll down the window. Comparing it to the OEM piece, it's about a ¼" bowed at the highest point in the center. I'm surprised it didn't shatter in the channel from being stressed that much. I'm ordering two more door glass pieces from OER this time, and hoping they aren't sourced from the same manufacturer. Anyone else ever have this problem ?

I bought door glass and vent glass from AMD. The door glass was fine, but one of the vent glass didn’t have the right curve to it.

Yes I have this problem. I used my originals on the P side as they are in great shape, D side was replacement from OER I believe. Quarter and door. 68 RR Hardtop.
Same thing. I roll the window down and up when the door is open. I can get it down with the door closed. Rolling it up, forget it. It's not the adjustment, it's the curvature of the glass as you say. I have just learned to live with it as I only cruise this car in nice weather so the window is only down.

Hit and miss as it is with many parts these days. ECS Automotive Concepts is supposed to have very good glass. Pricey and they had about a 9 month wait back when I was looking for glass in 2021. Maybe not so now.
Good luck.

Known issue with repop glass. I ordered a DS door glass for my 70 Charger from ECS and fought the same issue. I took pics of the curvature and sent to them. They replaced my piece with another that ended up working out.
