Can someone please help me with some measurements and possibly pictures of how you took the measurements? I need measurements for the door lock rod swivel bracket holes on the side of the door next to the door mechanism (see pictures). I went to mount the lock hardware on my build today and AMD doesn't put these hole on there doors, go figure.
Thanks in advance for the help.

Get it to fit and work so its in the right place. Mark it and drill the holes from the inside out.

I thought about that. I just don't want to drill the holes then after I mount it I don't have the full range of travel and the rods are binding up. I don't know if I should mark holes in the locked or unlocked positon. Guess I'm just being over cautious because the car has been painted already and I didn't catch this until after the fact and really don't want extra holes. Lol I just figured some general measurements would get me close.

Looking at the blue photo the hole is about even with the latch screw. So get the linkage all free and working and mark it. You could also stick it with two way tape and make sure it works and drill it. You could always slot the holes a bit if you had to adjust it.

I'm probably going to do something along those lines. Going to try and give it a shot tomorrow. Those holes aren't on a 69. 69's have different linkage set up. They moved the lock up closer to the front about 3" in 69.
Thanks.

Better re-think that. That linkage is for the outside key lock. So my 69 has to have it.

Oh yeah, duh. Lol And I got it mixed up. That swivel isn't year specific it's model specific. It's only on the chargers.

It should be on all 68-70 b-bodies. They all take the same hardware.

Really. I can not understand why. I thought the coronet hardtops had the same functions.
I had to look at the photos a couple times.. look how much fatter the charger door is than the others!! Needed the pivot to move it out

These were taken with the tape measure hooked onto the bottom of the door.
