I'm looking at purchasing a '69 roadrunner and two elements showed up which I had questions:

1. What color should the interior door panels be painted? The color on these door panels seem odd to me This is a B3 car with a blue interior.
2. I've not seen a Hurst logo on the trunk before. Is this a standard part, an option, or ???

(see pics below for reference)

Your fender tag should have several paint codes, one of which would be interior paint I believe.

I'm thinking it's entirely possible the interior color for this car is supposed to be a different blue than the exterior of the body. (like it is in your pictures)

As for the hurst logo, not sure but it sure looks cool

It sure looks like a nice car!

The Hurst badges can be bought from Summit. Probably other places too, but I remember seeing them specifically in Summit catalogs next to the T-handles and accessories. $12.95 + shipping.

I know this wasnt your question, but the plasic piece that holds the arm rest should be chrome. Could of faded or looked like crap and was sprayed instead of rechromed.

Good eye! Yes, chrome bases for sure. I used to flip them over then move them side to side because the chrome was really nice on the bottom.

Check the data tag for upper door paint code.

2nd line from bottom

1st set will be lower body paint code (B3)

2nd set will be roof paint code. (B3)

3rd set will be interior color code. (Either M6B or H2B)

4th set will be upper door frame paint code. (They appear to be B5 -- Bright Met. Blue)

They also painted the stainless trim that runs along the top edge of the vinyl door panel.. Not that it looks bad or anything

Wow very nice find.

I love seeing the T7 cars this nice since I'm still contemplating putting mine back to it's original T7 with white vinyl top.

It really helps to see the color on nice cars like this.
