I got all new replacement weatherstripping, windlace, etc. but I have not been able to find replacements for the window rail track rubber felt that mounts inside the doors.
Does anyone know where or if anyone sales these?
Before I drill out and remove them I would like to know if I can get replacements.

I just put a set of these in my 1968 Satellite. They are delicate and EXPENSIVE ! Install EXACTLY like the directions tell. I ruined one finding that out ! Tip : if the window, channel run , and the plastic inserts do not want to go into the vertical vent window channel , spread the bottom of that channel a little wider. Use a paper punch to make the holes or they will tear. Use a LOT of silicone spray in the channel. That channel and the edge of the window glass MUST be very clean..........MO

If it’s not a pain in the butt and if the parts are not like searching for lost treasure, then it’s definitely not a Mopar. I guess this is what sets us apart from the rest.
Boy will I be glad when this project is finished. Gotta keep smiling

Can you tell me if you cut the flap over the plastic guides. The new ones I ordered are not just U-shaped. My original guides were U-shaped and clear . The new guides are black and shaped like a W with flocking to run up and down the channel. They don’t run up and down the channel as smooth as the original ones and I have not even installed the glass. I was just trying to do a practice run to see how they would fit inside the channel.

No, do not cut that flap. The plastic guides have the flocking on both sides of it. . Like they say, use a LOT of silicone spray , and make sure everything is CLEAN. Be very careful about starting the window, channel runs , and plastic guides into the BOTTOM of that vertical vent window channel . You may have to spread the bottom of that channel a little bit to get everything started into it. After the installation is done, the window will gradually get easier to roll up and down...Provided that all the adjustments as per the factory service manual are correct. Best not to have the inner and outer window fuzzies installed yet... .............MO.........................MO

thanks for your information. I am about to install the front glass into the door with the vent wing assembly already installed. I watched a you-tube video where the guy dropped the window in from the top by separating the very top of the Vent wing assembly.
I also wondered about whether to install the whiskers first and I understand you are suggesting to NOT install the whiskers until after the window is in place?
Thanks again. Any other advice on this process? restoring my 68 Charger RT.

Was it this video? That's how I've always done it, but is this how the factory did it?
