Looking at getting a set of DOT drag radials to help 68 Charger hook up. I want a street legal tire so that I can.drive to and from the track with them .

To work with my setup need a 26" tire. There are a lot of options out there even multiple versions by the same manufacture . Would like to hear some experiences

M/T , M&H, Hoosier , Nitto ...... So many options.

I'm running the Nitto 555r's. They hook so good it almost feels like the car lost power because the tires are so hard to break loose.

Originally I ran Hoosiers and they hooked great but it was like riding on a bowl of Jell-O. Switched to MT drag radials. Did not hook as well but, what a difference in ride and handling!

You forgot to mention what wheel size you have.

I have a set of 15 inch rims . And looking for a 26 or 27 tire .

I am going to price out .
M/T ET street S/S - 255/60/15

Try to use the widest rim for the tire, it will help flatten the footprint.
