Drive Angry

lights

I see, It sounded like a good one, If i can rent it ill go that route.. If its worth buying.. to me... i can always do that. I try to get all the car movies, just a hobby i guess but my all time favorite is Christine, then the Vanishing point with the Challenger.. 68 was always my favorite Charger of them all, i like them all but something about those tail lights! :)

I agree, the tail lights are the best. That was one of the factors when I was looking for my charger. Seeing Bullitt long before The Dukes of Hazzard, I had to someday have a '68.

Anybody notice that the Charger had no vent windows?

Yeah LOL. And when the car was "breaking down" running down the road they showed the speedo dropping to zero then the very next scene is the car still moving... Like the speedo was a tach or something.

Maybe the speedometer cable broke too..or somebody doesn't know how to edit film. like the car stops first then show the speedo....lol

Anyone who has a 1969 Charger R/T should get the new Nicolas Cage movie called Drive Angry...the Charger is shown a lot in this movie and Cage drives the hell out of it...Marla...:director:

Is it shown as much as the one in the 1974 movie: "Dirty Mary, Crazy Larry"? The whole second half of the movie is about Fonda trying to outrun the Pokey...

No vent windows. I remember seeing that and thought that it was wierd. Maybe they pulled them to allow better filming shots of the occupants?

"Drive" sucked . Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too slow. It was promoted as a car movie, since there were car stunts in the movie trailer. Two chases, and one was with the driver in a rental Impala. The movie moved along at the pace of a dead snail. The only thing THAT DVD is worth is for levelling out a wobbly table.
