I’m getting the dash back together on a 69 Charger after re-wiring, replacing the instrument panel, AC box and the master cylinder.
I’m being held up by a seemingly simple job. I can’t get the flexible duct to engage the outlet. I’ve tried from below without removing the outlet and the other way with the outlet off. Can’t get the outlet in with the flex hose on because of shutoff door stem.
Does anybody have any tips or tricks? I might just need someone with smaller hands. I’m thinking the factory installed the AC ducts before the dash was installed. It’s not helpful to have the headlight vacuum switch with hoses just above the AC duct and it keeps trying to unlatch.
Thanks in advance for any insights.
At least I got the AC control switch finally working today.
