driveshaft help

I have a driveshaft from a 318/904 to 8 1/4 b body. Can I use it in my 70 rr 440/833 to 8 3/4 if I shorten it to 52" and use the 833/727 30 spline slipyoke? The driveshaft is 3.25" in diameter. Thanks in advance. :icon_mrgreen:

The universals should be a different size between the big block yoke and the small block shaft. I would find and big block drive shaft with the larger universal joints.
