I was going to wait and detail/paint the engine bay and suspension, etc, later ... but thinking I may go for it and "do it once, do it right" (car is prepped for exterior paint as it sits). My question is : Is it easier to drop the K and all still mounted/attached out from under or just as easy to go "conventional" ? Either way I'll be removing the engine from the K frame for detail and new suspension parts, etc. thanks ...... 73 Roadrunner BTW

depends on the tools you have available.if you have a lift, then leave it all attached to the k and lift off the body.otherwise you pretty much need to go conventional.

Guess the lift would make i a WHOLE lot easier - thought I could lift the body up with the cherry picker but probably couldn't get the clearance now that I consider .... a lift, yeah, one day (along with a detached shop).

ya,there is no way to lift the body high enough without a lift.unless you try something stupid and end up damaging the car.:angry9:
