good job Ron, looks like you'll be able to make the track before fall !!

Looks great!
The only thing that make that engine look better is a crossram. LOL

What's the CI?

Once I get the eng dailed in and can save some money I might go to the crossram. I love the look of the crossram and even though it may slow up a bit with the crossram it can be worth it for the WOW factor when I open the hood. :3gears:
The eng is 493 cubes (.030 over 440 and 4.15 crank) and it is much stronger all around. More cubes (446 vs 493) more heads (906 vs Indy EZ at Maxie ports) more cam (MP.557 - .252 @ .050 and .557 lift vs custom grind - .270 @ .050 and .634 lift) and bigger headers (1-3/4 vs 2" tubes) and thats just the main things. I hope it will get me at least high 10's as my best with the old eng is 11.49. And this is still a pump gas eng as it is 10.6 comp with aluminum heads and has .046 quench. I want to still drive to the track and run some 10's and then drive home using all eng and NO power adders ! Wish me luck. :) Ron

Nice work....I'm only a few steps ahead of you.
It's so satisfying to hear it fire for the 1st time...
