So broke down and did 11x3 drum to 11.75 conversion using all OEM-ish or reman parts. 73 a body knuckle, dr diff slider brackets, reman slider calipers, new hoses, correct disc drum proportioning value, larger bendix like power booster and cylinder from inline tube.
Once I did everything it did take a few adjustments of booster pin to get depth correct. With a decent push, the wheel turns about 5/8 of the way round and stops. Same with or without mc on booster.
But it just still seems like front brakes are too tight. I jacked each side and loosened master cylinder and no difference in turning wheel with or without master cylinder attached to booster.
Jacked up rear and brakes work fine and emergency brake works in air.
So, I’ve driven it around maybe 5-10 miles and done with appropriate stops to break in shoes to rotors. I will say that once it seems to get going it brakes much much better.
It just seems like the front brakes are still grabbing and I have to accelerate to get it to go, then it seems ok. After my last run the calipers sounded like they were groaning for a minute or so when i pulled in garage.
Again, newbie of these era disc brakes. Is this just normal break in? Any help or thoughts are welcome!

Perhaps you have a residual pressure valve on the front segment in the master cylinder? Which one did inline tube provide?

Front bearings may be too tight.
Ok. I'll check that. For years I did the just tight/loose enough I was taught as mechanic's helper in 1978 maybe? But I recently found this video that seems to be interesting and I've done this:

You know, I just thought of something and if this is it, I'm going to crawl in a hole. :) I want to make sure that the helper bleeding my brakes did not fill the MC to the top. I know it's supposed to be 1/4 of an inch lower. Going to check that in a few minutes.

Ok! It was too much fluid in master cylinder. Drive for an hour seems ok. Thanks all!!!
