don't even know what to look for. guess ill need a shorter throttle cable if anyone has one. and a bracket to hold it, as we traded our old manifold away. and maybe a bracket on carb. hate to buy a new kit as we just gave a hundred for carb linkage, thanks again bob 1-IMGP0152.jpg

Bob, What cable are you using now? You might consider switching the carbs! Front to rear! Your cable might be long enough for that! I might have a bracket that will work! I'll check on it.

this is an early b-body bracket that i did a little modifying on.

Shot of Lokar bracket and cables you cut to fit might work for you. This is on my 392 hemi but should work on yours.

Attached is a picture of the bracket I'm using. It's more or less the same as the 60's Chrysler 300 2X4 cars. It can accommodate the mechanical kick-down linkage although I'm using an aftermarket cable. I bought the repop bracket from Dan Jenks. This is his website: http://dynamicrenovation.net/Contact_Us.php The part no longer shows in the online catalog but perhaps if you contact Dan he can tell you where to find one 2X4 Bracket.jpg

thanks, maybe I should have mentioned its a 4 speed car. ill measure the length I need, the end of the cable has to go below pivot point on carb. need some kinda bracket to mount on the intake for cable

The bracket in the picture I posted will work. You just don't use the features that are there for an automatic car. I think you'll find this is may be the only reproduction or aftermarket piece that will be a bolt on. Otherwise I think you'll have to get creative like some of the other guys have done and make something.

Yep,and the only one that looks like it belongs there and still available from Dynamic Renovations!

I fabbed a bracket that fits between the carbs. Simple and less "bulky". Uses the stock cable.

That's easy since you are not using progressive linkage.

So change the connecting rod to make it progressive. Doesn't matter which carb the cable connects to..
