440 belvedere
New Member
Hey guys I have a 65 belvedere and I live in Florida. We have a season devoted to rain so I know that the one speed wipers in my car won't cut it.so over the weekend I tried a mod and it worked so I thought Id share. I went and bought a two speed wiper for a 67 - 69 Mustang it's compact and dual speed. I had to drill two new hole in my mount. But the important thing is to make the arm centered in the biggest hole on the mount. Now u have to buy the arm for a mustang. You have to cut the post side of the Mustang arm off and weld on the part of your stock arm that attaches to the transmissions for your stock arms. Wiring foes require some skills and you need a two speed switch but it's in and works awesome. 100 for the motor 15 for the arm 20 for the switch. Below are pics of the chunk u cut off the arm and what's left of the stock arms the motor clears everything behind the dash. Do t for get to remove your wipers and reclock them to park. Oh the stock arm is welded on just grind down the weld and tap it with a small hammer it will come off very easily.
