I have a 1966 dodge charger with a 383 with the edelbrock E St. heads and roller rockers my question is can I use my factory valve covers. My aluminum Mopar performance valve covers one of them cracked where it gets tighten down and it’s leaking oil and I am supposed to be on the dragstrip this weekend. I ask because the factory ones are a lot shorter. Thanks in advance

Stamped steel rockers definitely clear.
Rollers don't know, probably okay

Put a valve cover on loosely and turn it over. If it doesn't move, you're good

I couldn't get factory stamped steel covers to properly bolt on to edelbrock heads.

Your adjusters might hit the baffle.

I’ve got stock steel valve covers on my B engine with Edelbrock heads and Comp roller rockers. No evidence of interference and no leaks so far.

Factory valve covers will not. Rockers hit baffle

Just remembered I have a Mopar cast valve cover.
PM me if you're interested

Edelbrock heads, stock steel valve covers, I guarantee you there are roller rockers under there with no marks on the baffles. Comp XE274 cam so it’s no extreme high lift.
