It's going to be the GTX's first voyage of any real distance (about 65 miles each way for me). Going to be hotter than hell, too (93 or so).
Pretty big show. Lots of national vendors and such.

Wish us safe trip! Glad Haggerty has rollback service....

Yep, nice show and people.
GTX did real well. I was pleased with her. In 95 degree heat, she ran 185-190 on the way back home. She's turning too many RPM on highway, though - about 2800RPM @ 60MPH. 3.55's do that, I guess.

When we finally got close to home and dropped speed, she dropped back to 175 degrees almost instantly.
I reckon she's no longer a project - she's officially a CAR now.

Lots of very nice cars there, including a numbers-matching all original '69 Road Runner hemi 4 speed.
