LOL... what did he expect ??, just smell that stuff, you can't get it even close to your nose without gaging... You know I love my dog, I don't own any cats, we had them when I was younger, I don't have one mostly because, I can't stand the smell of litter-boxes either, go into anyone's house who owns a cat & you can tell immediately... But between them always barfing, gagging &/or spitting up hairballs all over, that should be a pretty good clue, cat food is rancid stuff.... Just for the sake of curiosity, I always wondered what "Buddies" Puperroni Treats tasted like, they really smell & look just like a real beef jerky stick, like you get @ 7-11, probably the same thing in them jars...LOL... but I ain't going to be taste testing his food anytime soon...

I had a freind that use to eat Milk Bone dog biscuits like cookies. I tried one once, it tasted like a very think and crunchy "Rye Crisp" cracker. To be honest it wasn't a bad experience al all, nothing like what he went through.

Just like "people" food- some is good, some is not.

Some is more appealing to certain individuals than others.

Some is just garbage.

I had a freind that use to eat Milk Bone dog biscuits like cookies. I tried one once, it tasted like a very think and crunchy "Rye Crisp" cracker. To be honest it wasn't a bad experience al all, nothing like what he went through.

My oldest sister Lori ate them regularly too...LOL... :iamwithstupid: she said they were good, but I did trust her judgment..

My sister Candy was heating up some Recipe canned Dog food, it looks allot like beef stew, for her Shepard Barrie when she was pregnant, I ate a small bowl of it, before she came in & told me, "it wasn't beef stew"... It wasn't that bad thou, especially with saltine cracker & probably better than her beef stew was...LOL...

I've opened some cans, and fed my dogs, with much better things than I got in the Army. Budnicks, you are correct sir! Some dog foods rival Dinty Moore. But what do I know, after six beers, I would eat out of the sink strainer.
