I have a 1967 Plymouth 383-4V, automatic. I need to replace the throttle cable and possible mounting bracket and firewall grommet setup. Can anyone show me a correct picture of how it looks.
I believe my set up is for a 4 speed with a generic cable. It works, sort of but I want to make look original.

Many thanks.

Maybe if you post a picture of what you have others could then make suggestions as to what you will need.

Mega Parts or any of the others have the cables, you may need a length measurement. As far as the way it looks, yes, pictures would help.

Sounds like we are dealing with a similar situation. The PO of my wagon put some generic throttle and KD cable setup on the car. Brackets are super flimsy. I have the adjustments on the cables as best as I can get but can't get full throttle or kick down. Piece by piece I have stuff coming in to put a stock replacement throttle cable in, with manifold bracket made by AR Engineering, from Mancini. Throttle cables are listed by application. A friend is hooking me up with the three rods and carb adjuster unit for the 3 piece oe style KD setup. The rest of that equation, bell cranks and trans arm, are coming from Mancini too. Holley and Carter/Edelbrock both use specific adaptor arms for the oe cable to hook to. You will need that too if your car isn't already equipped with that. Mancini and others have those too.
