Electric fuel pump conversion

What model Areomotive would you suggest ? There are many. Thanks

I'd likely go with this kit. I'm contemplating boosting mine so I'm holding off until I make up my mind... spend once lol.

Didn't see where it mentions whether or not it's a return style regulator? I'd go with a return though.

Thanks for the input guys, that's what I was looking for and yeah, I don't want to do this twice so keep the feedback coming and I'll keep digging into it. It's looking like that Carter isn't going to cut it. I originally started leaning that way because all the reviews are good, some of the others are all over the map, holleys in particular.
I've really turned away from Holley lately, bought one of their mechanical pumps which showed up in a Taiwan package and only lasted a few years. The Carter replacement didn't last a year and so far the Edelbrock is still kicking. It's really hard to trust any brand nowdays with so much garbage out there.

This was my Holley on the first run, right out of the box...

Gasket was installed crooked and leaked like a seive.

If you run a return line are you running the same size as inlet or bigger or maybe smaller. On the mechanical you do have the fuel before the pump inlet it has been bent like the drain in the house. Also wonder is a fuel cooler before or after the carb also are you running any type of restictor fitting on the return to keep the fuel in the bowls and not air pockets. Just some thoughts

I run both an electric and mechanical in series. I routed a bypass line with a one-way check valve around the electric so the mechanical can pull around it. I only use the electric to prime and at the racetrack. I switch it on just before I stage the car. The electric is mounted on the front side of the axle tunnel. It’s a little above the pickup, but has worked just fine thus far. I run a 1/2” pickup in a stock tank and 1/2” line all the way forward.
