Electrical mystery: What are these?

I have a 77 Cordoba 400 4BBL bone stock - with lean burn. I found these two connections that were just hanging there near the coil. the first is a ring connector that looks like it should connect directly to the coil. The other is a male/female plug that is just hanging..I couldn't find anything to connect it to. Does anyone have any idea what these connections are for?

male/female maybe for the A/C compressor clutch? I don't know on the other if its near the coil it probably goes on it! and someone forgot to put it back on!
