DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT THE CORRECT NOMENCLATURE IS FOR THE ELECTRICAL JUNCTION BOX WHERE THE WIRES TRANSFER FROM INSIDE THE CAR TO THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT (LOCATED ON THE FIREWALL)

ALSO, HOW BEST TO REMOVE IT, AND LAST OF ALL

WHERE TO BUY A NEW ONE?

THANKS FOR THE HELP.

I beleive it is called the bulkhead connector.mine is held in by 4 clips 2 on top and 2 on the bottom, justdissconnect the engine side plugs and pry from the engine side and it can be removed from under the dash.I bought a new wire harness and this complete assembly was included with all brand new shiny connectors .my car is a 69 roadrunner

Thank you

Thanks for the info.

The harness you bought that included the box whas that the under dash?

My wiring is good but i am concerned that when i try and remove the connecter it will break, (original).

Where did you buy it?

Yes it is the main under dash harness and I got it from Year One.$499.00 but well worth it.exact replica right down to the numbers on the bulkhead connector and the fuse block
