I just made this. I was sceptical about the banana but it tasted EXTREMELY good. The trick is to use a very ripe banana.
If you haven't, i would absolutely recommend you try. :thumbsup:

A variation of this sandwich was a childhood favorite of mine as well
(after all, I am southern). Instead of bacon though, ours had mayo.

A couple regional favorites for decades now - better/less artificial than the national big names, less dense than that
freakin' Duke's - mayo should never overpower everything else on the sandwich:

Both made just a couple hours west of here....and I can eat either with a tablespoon "straight up". :thumbsup:
