I've had both hips replaced and have no issues driving 2 of my non-hydraulic type standard shift cars. Typically hip surgery should put you back to where you used to be before joint issues. You should not need anything special unless the pressure plate is especially stiff.I would like to know if anyone with a hip replacement, had to change their pressure plate and clutch. If so, what did you use?
Correction!
I was not thinking about a hydraulic clutch. Experience I had was they weren’t fast enough to enjoy a ride down the track.
