Emergency Brake light

1969 dodge charger, the other day when stopping, not all the time but a few times, the Emergency Brake like came on and then went off. I know it could be the switch for the parking brake pedal, but i dont think that is is. Is there anything else that I can look for that would cause this. The car has power brakes and discs up front, master is 1-1/8" bore. Any information is appreciated.

Sounds like your system might have a leak in it. It’s not the parking brake. There’s a little switch on your distribution block that will go to one side if it loses pressure in the front or rear brakes. That will activate your emergency brake light on your dash.

If the pressure dips, it moves the contact in the metering block, which illuminates the same Red brake light.
It's located on the driver's side lower Fender area, beneath the master cylinder.

thanks I will look into it. I dont see fluid leaking so I am wondering if the master is leaking by on its piston but not out to the ground.

Could be either that your emergency brake pedal is coming off the switch when braking due to momentum, or the distribution block "failure" switch. If your rear brakes have worn down (or aren't set up properly) and are now travelling further than they should to engage, that is enough to shift the spool and activate the switch in a front disc, rear drum car... no leaks required!

thanks Dadsbee, I do have to adjust the rear brakes so I will look into that.
