Emissions Removal?

Hi,

Is there any way I can remove most of the Emission/Vac lines on a Stock 74 5.9 360? Right now there's no Vac lines on the Air Filter, CCEV or Egr. Just curious..

Sure you can, question is how will it run? That is the last year before mandatory catalytic converters.

removing emission items may even make the engine run worse....you will need to decipher what each item does and adjust accordingly

Ok just checkin, can u clean the egr valve or is it best to get a new one.

EGR usually does not get clogged...it's usually the intake that gets plugged.

EGR works or it doesn't.....check it with a hand pump vacuum gauge....

Would old fuel/oil clog the intake?

Old burned fuel and oil and years of accumulated Carbon from the exaust gases recirculation.. the intake gets full under the carb and its usually easier to put a new intake on than to chisel all the carbon out...
