Hi guys need little help installing complete front clip on 70 charger.i have noticed AMD front clip is wider 1/2 from original one.i am talking about where the inner fender sits.so I can't square the inside the hood frame.is it possible if any one can give me the measurement near the firewall and near radiator support.i need near the firefirewall because I replaced new one cuz was badly rusted and was not on the proper place.

It’s a 1/2 wider because you whacked off all the original metal without having the car initially on a frame jig before cutting. Measurements of the original metal should have been done as well in the beginning......

The car needs to be put on the jig and everything you have installed needs to be removed and reinstalled.....

If not you have ruined this car.....nothing will line up right and it will looked like a cobbled up mess....you also better own stock in tires.......

These things were relayed to in your previous thread.........

Hi
Well car is on level. And i.have complete front end with frame and inner fender installed .Compare from AMD from the original one AMD front radiator support is wider .that one I know it need alteration so that's not a big deal. Just need measurement hinge bracket to the other bracket .other alignment I will do like I did the front frames.
Thanks

Compare it to your hood in matching locations and give yourself ~ 3/16" gap for each side. The hood "hole" is NOT square! Don't see how you can get the inner fenders wrong at the firewall end. They attach to the firewall extensions and locate to the upper cowl tabs. Inners in first on the old cowl first, then remove the cowl if it was necessary and transfer the "tabs". Location can't change that way.
