My 1969 GTS 340 was painted Turquoise from the factory not red as mentioned.
1969 was a weird year for small-block colors. You could have Red, Turquoise, Hemi Orange or Corporate Blue on any 273/318/340. Trucks tended to be Red, strangely enough. That list is known crap and should be deleted from the internet.Don’t know why that list suggests 68 440 HP is Orange. They’re turquoise.
