If you are referring as the 5th digit in the VIN as H, it is an N.

Thanks for correcting me. Yes, new for 1970 was N instead of H as in 68 and 69. My mistake.

The intent is the same. There are several HP and non-HP versions of the 383-4 assembly for 1970.
