Engine numbers

I have a 65 Coronet500 with the original 426 wedge motor, but why does the engine pad say 416 ?:eusa_think:

I was under the impression the large 41 indicates 413. If it were a 426 it would say 42. Are you sure it's a 65 engine?

I Too Believe It's A 413! The '64 426 Street Wedge Has A V42 Number On The Distributor Boss!
