Engine stalls with AC on

I recently had vintage air in stalled on my 1974 roadrunner with a 318 engine. The car almost stalls or sometimes does stall at a traffic light as it draws down the rpms. Anyone have any reason why?

Suspect they did not install idle up solenoid or not adjusted

Factory has no fast idle solenoid.

Was one installed?

FSM calls for slightly higher idle speed on AC cars in 73.

That's where mine is at now, but it still drags down more than I'd like.

the factory may not have put one in i would install one to stop stalling.
