EPD prep

I have a 63 Dodge that I had dipped and EPD coated. I have done some patching, trim hole filling (Welded shut) and fabrication so there are bare spots. Planning on using a DTM primer on the bare spots and then prepping the whole thing. Do you DA or block sand it at this point and what grit? It will be on a rotisserie.

I would scuff and check the previous coating. Wipe with lacquer thinner. If any comes off on the rag then it all needs to come off. I would epoxy everything an build from there.
