Well I went out a few times now with a timing that i thought was close. I did it while my motor was out of the car and set it by the crank trigger magnets and sensor and timing marks then phased the rotor by eye.
Ran the car and it felt great only to find out that I was holding some horsepower. Timing should be at 35-36 degrees only to find out I was at 31-32 degrees.
I cant wait to get out again with the new timing and see if in fact I found more HP/
Guys get out there and recheck your timing. You might surprise yourself.

Heck I got to get mine running first but when I do it is first on my list.

Me either. You need to replace that dial in 9. with a 8. on your windsheild!

Going to go out next weekend and if it stays in the 8's i'll change the number.
I'm pretty happy today with everything coming together nicely.

Any time my old Modified Car was down on h/p it would wheelie like a bitch. Your timing issue should help this.
