I'm sure this has been discussed in the pass.....but will 340 exhaust manifolds fit on a 66 Coronet 273 engine?

Or am I stuck with the original manifolds? If they do fit, what year exhaust pipes will fit my car?

Are all 340 manifolds the same, (A & B Bodies), & do they dump out at the same location as the 273 manifolds?

BTW, it's an auto trans, no PS.

Headers are "NOT" an option........

I just want to increase the size of the entire exhaust system to either 2 1/4" or 2 1/2"

Forgive my ignorance, as I come from many years of GM cars.

I'm just trying to get knowledge on MOPARS.

sure you will get a definitive answer soon enough on this site but if A engines are anything like B's the dump varies by year but any exhaust shop can connect them up relatively cheaply ... i always go looking for the mom and pop types not midas etc.

Yes they will fit. You'll need to go to an exhaust shop to get the pipes custom bent.

Are they the early or late manifolds? If they are the early ones, they will both accept 2.5" pipe right off the manifolds.
