Exhaust Stud / Water Jacket

Can anyone help, do the exhaust manifold studs on the passenger side of a 1970 440 all tap into the water jacket, or just certain ones and if so which ones? I've heard all of them and I've heard just the front and very back one only. Thanks in advance

Not always. I just went through this myself and checked a few heads. It just depends on the casting. Not sure if the date has anything to do with it or not but not all heads have all the holes wet...

Interesting. The 452 heads have wet studs. Think the 906 does too?

I think I have a set of 452's out in the shop I could check but not sure about having any 906's left. I do have some 902 and 516's for sure. I'm feeling kinda crappy today and will check later....
