Fair price for a 64 Torqueflite?

I sold my big block '64 tranny for $150. Took awhile, but held out and a guy bought it when he bought a 440 from my dad..

I sold my big block '64 tranny for $150.

Sounds fair to me.

Just thinking since their harder to find, especially in decent shape.
I paid $100 for my 67 Torqueflite core, considering it a good enough deal. That one had been sitting outside in the dirt for no-telling how many years.

Thanks to everybody! Just wanting to make sure I wasn't out of hand.

IIRC the tranny behind a 64 318 can be used with a 354 Hemi converting from a two speed powerflite to a torqueflight with parking gear. Hemi Hot Heads sells the adapter to be able to do that...............................MO

Got one need out of my way. Converter can go, too.

It's an early one with 2 pumps for push starting the car in 65 they eliminated the rear pump.... $100 is for a dime a dozen trans... $600 because they only made them for 3 years..... a big block trans is worth $400 in any shape... small block late model is way different. Rebuild it and sell it for $3000

Not interested in raking anyone, not interested in getting raked.

Been going through too much of that, on most other parts for my car.

When I do put it up, simple deal.
Yeah, $100 dime a dozen, for a core. 67 I've built cost me an added $200, for all, including my modifications.
