I'm having some cooling problems with my 69 Roadrunner 383 and suspect it does not have the right fan.

Can anyone tell me what the diameter and number of blades should be on the stock fan?

My Super Bee with the 335 hp 383 (non a/c), with standard 22" non shrouded radiator (2949053), came with a 7 blade fan, pn 2863224 (not sure of diameter), and a 1.24" spacer, pn 1825932. Really, need more info. What water pump? What pulley? Stock or aftermarket rad? Timing? T-stat? When is it overheating (sitting in traffic, idling in driveway, cruising down the intertsate, etc.)? And what are you considering as a cooling problem?

Thanks for the information. I'm having trouble installing a fan shroud and suspect the fan is not correct. From what I found, the 2863224 fan is 18" which helps.

Same on my 69 RR (the 7 blade fan is a direct mount and not a clutch fan).
