Earlier this year I took some pictures of this '70 RR from "Fast And Furious 6" about a month before the movies release....I know some people will insist that it should be called "Hammer", (the original Hammer was built here So Cal by a friend's shop) but it's actually a '70 Road Runner, so I'll call it what it is.
I took pictures of the vin showing it was in fact a 383 Road Runner, I was told it was a factory 383/4 speed Road Runner with air conditioning, and it was also factory FY1 with black bucket seat interior, well this morning the car was back at our Sunday morning cruise, (probably the 5th time it's been there), this time they had the hood popped...so much for a detail job, (it is a movie car after all)...but the 440 does sound good, (original 383 was long gone). black '69 GTX convertible 064.jpgblack '69 GTX convertible 065.jpgblack '69 GTX convertible 066.jpgblack '69 GTX convertible 067.jpgblack '69 GTX convertible 068.jpgblack '69 GTX convertible 069.jpgblack '69 GTX convertible 070.jpgblack '69 GTX convertible 071.jpg

After the car was wrecked in the movie they managed to repair to working order what was needed, doors, hood, trunk, suspension etc. The car is driven quite a bit here in Los Angeles and always gathers a crowd at the local shows.
Does the drivers door even open or do you have to climb in through the window duke style.

is this the one that rolled? with the chick driving it?

i wonder is he ever going to fix it? at least put some clear coat on the rust spots to stop the cancer

Holy crap! Is there a punishment for Road Runner abuse? Why couldn't they use a Camaro like they did in Vanishing point?
