I am putting together a car, first build ever, and was interested in some feedback on this system.
I have a 358cu 500hp with 200hp of nos. Currently own a 950 demon carb but have no experience with carbs and what to make sure I don't run lean with the nos. Either way I have to build an ignition system and fuel system so all options are currently open so to speak. Any feedback is great. Thanks

I have a FAST EZ EFI 2.0. I am just getting around to starting the car, so I do not have any real road time with it yet.

So far, my experience is that the kit and quality seems nice. I have called their tech support for two different questions, however, and I have NOT been happy with their tech support - not particularly helpful. They really didn't listen to what information I was providing and just seemed more interested in just getting me off the phone. If you want to check out my installation, you can check my thread...

Not exactly the EZ EFI, but I just bought the FAST XFI 2.0 with data logger (no traction control) to replace the Edelbrock Pro-Flo XT computer that came with the port EFI kit (for Mopar 440.)
I haven't installed the FAST computer yet, but read all the instructions and got a flex-fuel sensor so I can run different gasoline/ethonol mixtures because around here in Colorado there is some ethonol in all the pump blends, plus I can run E-85 if I want to. I bought a 450 Lph Welbro E-85 in-tank pump to use with this setup too.
I will be installing the FAST in the next few weeks. Right now I am just finishing up the engine for a different car and I want to get that project back on the road before disabling another car for updates.
Tanksinc.com has some new EFI fuel tanks that are replacements for our old Mopar tanks, but the 68-70 B-Body is not released yet. I did see the Spectra EFI tank at the Mopar show at Bandimere last week. 521 Restorations had one there. It looks like the pump and fuel level gauge all install through a stock type sender hole (the Tanksinc version has seperate holes for the pump and fuel level.)
I haven't seen inside any of these tanks to see how they are baffled for the EFI?

There are several wiring harness for the FAST. If you call them and tell them what TPS, MAP, etc you are using they will help you select the correct harness with the correct connector ends. I am using the FAST dual sync distrubitor too, so I'm not using a crank trigger.

hawk i have been following your build good work.
i have decided to jump into the deep end of the pool
i am going to order the system with an aeromotive flex fuel pump, purely for the increased output
on my car i replaced the rear superbee bumper with a charge bumper as in the picture
will be fabricating a new gas tank with a neck that is filled through the trunk. i am trying to go for a very sleek look with no turn singles or gas cap on the quarter pannel
thanks for the advice

Hey Bone,

Looks like a cool project. I had my tank built by Hot Rod City - it is an aluminum tank and it fit nicely. It also has capacity for one extra gallon of gas than the stock tank. I may have tried to fab my own tank if I would have had the time, but it wasn't in the cards for me. As I am sure you know, make sure you baffle inside of the tank around the fuel pump so fuel can only slowly move in and out of the baffle.

I also used two stock 3/8" lines to run my supply and return lines. These are Hemi fuel lines (the stock for my 383 would have been 5/16"). These have worked out well and made for a nice clean installation. I have also tried to semi-hide some of the fuel injection components under the hood for a clean look under the hood. Since my car is an Air Grabber car I didn't want anything ugly to distract from that.

Best of luck!

Hawk
