Waiting for a package and they are saying it is coming today and is out for delivery.

Big pain when you really don't know if it really will be coming.

This package requires a signature so I don't want to miss it, and tomorrow is a fed holiday.

Sometimes you can waste the whole day waiting for something and then it gets rescheduled at the last minute.

Check the battery in your Fedex ankle bracelet maybe…..lol I am still waiting on a FedEx but it is not car related.

FedEx...One of the worst for a package shipping company!!! Hell UPS and the USPS has a much more consistent delivery operation then FedEx. Personally I would like to see all concerns that use FedEx to drop them like a hot spud. Wishful thinking I know but at least they might just get the message one would think??? Half the time when you go to their tracking page, plug in the tracking #, it comes back as unable to continue or not available. My final peeve about them is the delivery drivers refuse to ring the doorbell when they leave a package so it may sit outside and visable for anyone to grab it. They then send a email or text that it was delivered with a pic of it sitting on ones door step. What about those that do not have a cell phone nor use it constantly nor on their computer all the day??? Makes one say...HHHHHMMMMM??? cr8crshr/Bill:usflag::usflag::usflag:

I feel your pain....
About a month ago I ordered a new hydraulic cylinder... About ten days later a big box arrived... The box is kinda beat up but it's a really big box & the cylinder isn't that big so it's probably fine right?

Well if there were a cylinder in the box it probably would be but instead they decided to ship me a tool box.... I get ahold of customer service & they provide a call tag & I ask about expediting the replacement cylinder.... "Oh, you'll need to re-order it, we can't just resend one..." WTH???

Fine... Let's make that happen.... Same item, same delivery address.... Okay, we'll ship it when the wrong item arrives back here... No... You'll ship it immediately, I'm already delayed on a project...

We can't unless you pay for it & we'll refund you when the return arrives... Needless to say I was getting POed but since I'd designed the build around the cylinder I paid for a second cylinder & got the toolbox shipped back... Got a return receipt... Tracking shows they got the tool box on Monday... This is Thursday...I'd like to say I got my credit... But I can't cause that would be a lie...

Oh, the replacement cylinder... They shipped it that day... And I've kept an eye on the tracking... It was at a town less than 30 miles from me last Friday...Saturday it was at another town about twenty miles from me... Monday it was 15 miles away.... And still there Tuesday.. And Wednesday... And on Thursday I went to the local FedEx Express office & initially was told since it shipped ground they couldn't help me.. But then a manager who has dealt with me for twenty years on customer shipments came over & got involved... Poked around on his computer, made a few calls & it appears FedEx has lost my package...
So now I've contacted customer service again.... They've shipped another cylinder again & I'm waiting... Again...

So Yeah, I feel your pain... Hope you get your package soon....

Wow! A few weeks ago I ordered a part from Summit on a Sunday. A short while later I got a reply saying it filled and gave me a tracking number with a scheduled delivery of Thursday. Well Thursday came and ... so did my package !!!

Summit has always been fast and accurate on all of my orders packed with care. Really good with 2nd day sent directly to a shop, and that says a lot. They’re also quick taking care of any returns or other issues. Just my opinion and experience and that’s all.

They deliver on Sunday's ???
Fedex, Purolator, UPS and a few smaller ones are delivering here on Saturdays and Sundays as well... shocked the **** out of me a couple of weeks ago with the Brown truck at the door..

Fedex sucks!
I ordered a carb kit for a customer and paid the extra for expedited shipping as time was a concern. At almost 2 weeks, it has traveled to 4 different locations in Texas!- I'm in Pa. I called the company, and FedEx only to find they now "contracted" USPS to complete the delivery. All of FedEx in my area is subbed out to contract drivers if and when they show up - most times they will drop the package on or by my mailbox anyway as my driveway is "too long" to bring it up to the house - 500 ft. I've had it with them. UPS and USPS I seem to have no difficulties.

it did finally show up around 2 pm so we can now take the dogs for a walk..........the sun is even out

Some of this depends on where you live I think. And it changes over time.
UPS used to be a complete shart show where I live for a decade. Packages broken, ripped open, thrown on the grass behind my house(with obvious dent in the ground where it landed)
Used to use FEDEX because they were prompt, took care of my stuff(including setting it in a bag if it was wet out) and I got my stuff without all the drama.
I got a package with DSL one time. It was broken. Place I got it from was to'd, sent me a replacement and took care of the claim and sent the replacement with UPS. Was an ebay seller. I bought a few other things from them afterwards because they did right by me.

Nowdays it is all changed, Fedex leaves my package leaning against my garage door. Not the service door, the car door. Except if I am home, and didn;t see them, it would be 100% possible to open my door from inside and not see the package on the ground and run it over. Haven't done it yet because now every time I expect somthing I look outside first. What a PITA.
Meanwhile, UPS will ask for instruction on where to drop it off, will use the "secondary" specified location when it is raining(inside a building) and takes care of business.

Don't worry, fedex will get new leadership when they go financially upside down and then they will improve and have a big advertisement campaign and pressure UPS, who will then become what fedex is now when their leadership is canned because they are experiancing actual competition and shareholders are mad they didn't make an extra $5 this quarter. Then it will go back to how it was 15 years ago.

Meanwhile, the taxpayer funded option sets up rules so they don't have to deal with anything even though we pay their bills. I always thought it odd they charge comparable rates for small items as a private run company that has to pay their own bills. Well not so much odd as it is expected and irritating.

Tracking info said it would be here Friday.... It wasn't, it did show as being in Pecos Texas yesterday.... And it shows as being in Arizona today.... So maybe Monday or Tuesday.....I hope... Originally ordered on January 28th.....

FedEx by far gives me more package is coming today..then nothing til 6pm. Then get a notice it’s delayed. I ordered overnight shipping on some saltwater fish while back overnight by noon. FedEx delivers at 6pm, even came home from work at lunch to wait for package. Needless to say all fish were dead.

Current tracking sez Barstow area so (hopefully) it is getting closer...
