How often do you replace your laptop computer?

5-7 years depending on when the problems start. Mine stays in the garage so it gets lots of crap on it. Just got a new one two weeks ago since I could no longer move the screen or it would go black ad the P key stopped working. Can't have that... Bought a refurbish from Dells refurbish site. My third one ad they all lasted near 10 years as a shop laptop.

Have you considered putting those command prompts into a BAT script? You could then schedule it to just run. I have a similar script on my work laptop except its just to kill a bunch of useless processes that hog resources, most of them from Adobe. Now when I reboot that machine I wait for it to settle down and then hit the WIN key, type the name of my script and hit enter, two seconds later its all done.

I have however with what my usage routine is daily, just not worth it but that is a good alternative to the process...Thanks...cr8crshr/Bill
