fender mounted turn signals

You guys are going to have everyone confused here, but I know what the inside joke is! Back to topic, my RR has the bullit type, but they are inboard. We checked the under the fender top and found that one side had a hole on the edge that was filled in, while the other side had no signs of a hole on the edge. So, which is correct for the RR?

Steve. That's the first time I've seen the bullits inboard you must have a one of one car:) That's the position for the other style lights, I had a total of 6 runner fenders including my originals and they were drilled for outboard. :HappyNewYear:

:confused:I tell you what my car must have been made on a mon or fri thats 2 things I found different than other Roadrunners first was the bird decal on the dash, its on the left of the roadrunner tag and now the wrong fender mounted turn signal. maybe new guys built mine. LOL:confused:

My 69 RR has the bullet type out on the edge.

Just today I picked up a friends 69 GTX to do some work on it and I noticed it has the square type, which I thought was strange. Someone mentioned this already and I will confirm from experience that sitting inside the car the hood blocks the RT side marker completely. In my ~27 yrs of MoPar awareness I have never seen a 68-69 Belvedere body with the square type fender lights.

Actually Bob it's not. I was parked next to a '69 RR convert at a show that not only had them inboard, but they were also the smaller size indicaters. I talked to the owner, and he said that he bought this car new, and that is how they came on this car.

Anyone have measurements for '69 Coronet? I have some Runner fenders that have them, they will end up too far forward if I use those measurements.
