Fender tag decoding

Hey I was just decoding my 68 sport satellite to see when it's 50th birthday is and on the decoder it says ABC options t3 unknown option. Any ideas what the option could be? May 14th is the 50th birthday btw.. Gonna have to treat her good that day!

That’s 69 and later coding. It would not apply to 1968.

You’re counting an inspection stamp as a coding number.
That’s not a valid option code format.

Yes. That’s just how StL plant did it. Every plant was different. Some are through, some are raised, some are on another strip of metal.
