Fender Tag options

Hey,

so far I am doing good with my 68 Charger. Unfortunatley I am a little stuck on the decoding of my fender tag, especially on the accessories, especially wether the gear ratio is right.

CAR: Dodge Charger 2 Door Sports Hardtop
ENGINE: 318cid 2-bbl V8 now 440 hp
TRANSMISSION: 3-Speed Automatic. now TF727
TIRES: Unknown tire code
MODEL YEAR: 1968
BUILD DATE: January 10.
AXLE: 3.54/3.55 Rear Axle Ratio (Dana60 or 8 3/4) ( 8 3/4 741)
INTERIOR: Premium Trim Grade
PAINT: should be pp1 red
OTHER:

MOLDINGS:
15: Unknown Option
20: Unknown Option
48: Unknown Option
62: Unknown Option
78: Wheel Lip Mouldings ok

ABC OPTIONS:
A1: 26in Radiator ok
C1: Unknown Option
E1: Cleaner Air Package had an AC
F1: Unknown Option
H2: Power Locks no power locks
J8: Remote Trunk Release Not sure

abc OPTIONS:
b7: Unknown Option
d6: Unknown Option
f0: Unknown Option

Maybe someone Can help me to complete the options.

You need to make sure the characters are under the correct letters or the decoder will return "Unknown Option"

Here is the decode I did, your tag is horrendous for clarity but I think I got everything, except the tire code.

If you go to the top of this page, click on Forums
Scroll down to "1968 - 1970 Mopars"
at the top is what are called :"stickys" in yellow background
There is a link I created called "Something to help decode your VIN and Fender Tag 1968 ONLY"
That is the original document that Mr. Belvedere attached.

The B under "U: in the second line from the bottom is
"Upper Door Frame Color - Black

BTW the code for your tires "53" is
8.25 x 14
White Wall
2 - 4 ply
Steel Belted tires

One of the best ways to get the codes to read better is to take the tag off and take a picture of the back of the tag. Then flip the picture so that the codes are readable.
