Congratulations! I know a guy in charge of the EAP program for Caterpillar. I always think what a woosey job for such a cool company and how he could be having so much more fun putting things together. CNC machines rock!
Congrat's on the new job! Mori make some of the best machines in the industry. Sounds like a solid job. Getting ready to attent I.M.T.S. in Chicago at McCormick
Place in September and will be looking at some new equipment. When I stop at their booth I will be thinking of you! Good Luck!
That is a big deal at our building right now as a lot of people from the Rancho site are there. We just started building the DMU-50 (I think that is what it is) which is a 5-axes machine.
I just started building the Dura today. I have a ton to learn but it is very interesting. Right now I am running the plumbing lines air, hydraulic, and coolant lines. Also there is some minor electric that gets connected. I wish I could take some pictures but that is strictly not allowed. Thanks for the pictures zyzzyx :headbang:
Just noticed that is a dodge part in that picture!!!!!!!
This is a cool job. I did not realize that the team I am on is actually doing all of the electric, plumbing, air and whatever else needs to be done before they power this thing up. Basically they program, make fine tune adjustments, and then put the sheet metal to get ready to ship.
Everyone is very nice, helpful, and willing to help you out when you get stuck. All tools are provided with a tool cart and iPad. So far I think this is a very good fit for myself.
