My stepdads ‘66 Charger is leaving our garage to go to his body and paint friend! Its not going to get started on tomorrow but I will update everyone when it will….
My stepdad was originally planning to actually drive it to his friends shop but then decided to trailer it. I told him that too on why he left the taillights and all that in or on, and he says he had to test fit everything (meaning the exhaust) to make sure it fit right…. ooohh kaayy, I woulda taken it off once I found out everything was good but to each their own.im a bit surprised that you didnt take all the trim and tailights, bumpers etc etc off, since thats usually the first thing the shops lose.
or the hardware to remount.
also its a lot less time consuming for the body shop,if its already off,and you dont have to pay the extra labor time.
just a thought.
They did yesI love the interior on these 1st gen cars. Did all of them come with a full console to the back?

It's true, part of a good metal/ body restoration is , seeing how the trim fits, and making sure it fits when done before wrecking a painted car that the trim doesn't fit now.My stepdad was originally planning to actually drive it to his friends shop but then decided to trailer it.
