Hi All,

I was probably going to have to punch a hole in my firewall to run a few wires to the fuse panel under my dash.

What kind of grommets do you use? Also, is there a caulking or sealer that you could recommend to place on top of the wires running through the firewall?

I would like to keep things as waterproof as I could make them.

thanks,

watermelon

I would use a body plug like what is on the floor as a drain. They are made by CAPLUG inc, and you can grab one at the junkyard or in the HELP section of the auto parts store. Usually there is an unused one located on the firewall already. Alternatively you could install some type of bulkhead connector (google it) which would allow a disconnect point if needed.

Any auto parts store should have wiring grommets, they come in all different sizes, and as the name suggests.....they have a hole in them.
