Thanks guys, Riddle me this batman, how should I remove this perfect glass? Should I just cut it out of the almost 50 yr old gasket? It seems to be the safest way at this point.
I'm open to suggestions,Joe
 
Nice looking car... looks very solid and I love the color. Keep us posted on the progress.

Sorry, can't help you on the glass question (I actually need to do that myself soon).
 
Actually, I got the glass out by working a knife around the inside,It was hanging on by a thread of black silicon. The front one I cut the top off of the gasket and then worked a knife around the inside and it came out.
