sorry very late on this one but better late then never. I love showing my flag off anyways it's just so freaking cool . It's a non stop fight though the wife wants it down I want it to stay .
 
I don't know of a single existing picture of my favorite flag picture.
When my brother came home from his third tour in Vietnam, he had his 68 Roadrunner painted Red,White,& Blue. Blue hood & fenders with 50 stars, and Red & White stripes on the rest of the car. Car ran around the St Louis area like that from say, 1972 to 1976 or so. Was out at the old St Louis International Raceway most weekends, and Alton prior to it closing. It was probably still Red at Alton. No pics that I know of, but it was cool in it's day.
Flag day a big deal at my house. Youngest grandchild born that day in 2002.
 
As far as i know, the wearing of any part of the Flag is not proper Flag ettiquete.
