Flowmaster 3" super 40's

So I am going with 3" exhaust all the way to the back with factory tips. got the muffs today and noticed in the instructions something interesting. See the pic and the note about H-pipe vs X-pipe kind of wipes out the debate.

What say you?

I called Flowmaster and asked them what I should run. I run Flowmasters because I like the type of sound they produce. I asked Flowmaster which type of crossover would retain or maximize the Flowmaster tone and they said to run the H pipe. The X pipe as I already knew has a wierd kinda sound to the exhaust when revving it up. I also am wiery of X pipes because some of them seem to restrict exhasut flow where the two pipes meet so just be careful which x pipe you get.
